You can create and share a poll with your WhatsApp contacts or groups using the function known as WhatsApp poll. Both Whatsapp for iOS and Android OS have access to this feature. Whatsapp has introduced three new interesting features to the existing Polls option on May 4, 2023.
New features to Whatsapp Poll
1. Now poll creators can disable “allow multiple answers” while creating a poll to make sure the users vote only once to get a more accurate answer.
2. Now you can search any poll by going to search in any chat where the poll is available and just search for “poll”. This will show all the polls available in that chat which was not available before.
3. New feature is enabling to receive notification whenever the users vote on your polls which helps in being updated with the current poll status.
Forwarding and sharing photos, videos, documents with captions
You may now choose whether to keep, delete, or totally rewrite the caption when you forward media with a caption while sharing pictures across chats. When forwarding photos and videos, you can also add a caption to them. Similar to sharing photos or videos, if you need to provide some context for the documents you share, you now have the choice to add a caption before sharing.
The global rollout of these updates has begun, and in the upcoming weeks, everyone will have access to them.
